Yes, truth is that we all have a story to tell. And truth is that horrible things happen to all of us. Consequently, an undeniably simple and profound question arises: “because those unwanted “horrible things” happen to us, should we then focus on them or to choose to focus on those experiences as a pure and clear learning lesson/s that will help us to become a better person than we are today?”
Like a powerful river, time passes by and many other things happen to all of us. And amongst all of that, truth is that there are many things that happen to us that feel really really good when we focus upon them and many things that happen to us that feel horrible when we focus upon them.
I personally believe that it is up to us to decide on what we want to focus upon: upon the things that feel horrible allowing ourselves to be in a constant raw and ragged edge of pain and suffering, or to focus on better feeling thoughts, thoughts of appreciation and love towards ourselves and the human kind. The choice is up to us. I choose to be selective. I choose to think better feeling thoughts. I choose to live in thoughts of appreciation and love.
What kind of thoughts are you choosing? …
